Back in April, the school entered a competition, run by the KM, to win tickets to the Kent County Show. As a school, we were lucky enough to win and this meant Year 3 were able to attend the Kent Show.
They had a fantastic time exploring and seeing the animals, machinery and different stands. They also had the opportunity to watch different demonstrations including Morris dancing, sheep racing and dog shows.
There was so much to see and do but some of the classes highlights were:
"Seeing all of the animals including noisy chickens, baby ducklings and cute, fluffy dogs."
Emma, Romeio and Kacey-Mai
"I enjoyed watching the dog show. We were even invited into the ring to try to help out and catch the dogs!"
"I liked seeing the Spitfire fly over the Kent Show. It did lots of loops and it was flying really quickly."
"We made milkshakes by cycling on a bike. It was good because we got to exercise and have a drink!"
George and Asharnti
We were also very lucky to get to speak to the presenter of KMFM- Lewis and some of the class could be heard speaking on the radio later that day!
