KS1 Art Club have been really busy this term. They have been doing art based around the topic, ‘Flowers’. They have experimented using different materials such as wax crayons, water colour paints, pastels, felt-tip pens and buttons and have produced some excellent work which they were really proud of.
We invited the parents and grandparents in to come and see our art gallery. They were really impressed with our work. Here are some of the things that our visitors wrote about our work:
“We loved the painted poppy pictures and the flowers made of buttons. The daisy pictures were also beautiful.”
“I love the artwork you made.”
“Wow! It’s great work. Very happy about that. Thank you so much for your hard work.”
“Very good work! So proud of you! Keep going!”
Oak Class, Ash Class and Beech Class have been enjoying creating all sorts of art in art club this term. They made clay owls and experimented using different tools to create patterns in the clay and then made different characters on wooden spoons using a variety of materials.
