Primary Admissions

If you have a child born between 1 September 2017 and 31st August 2018, you need to apply for their place at primary school at: kent.gov.uk/primaryadmissions

Key dates

Friday 4th November 2022- Applications open online

Senacre Wood Open Morning- Thursday 3rd November from 9:30

Senacre Wood Open Afternoon- Thursday 10th November from 9:30

Monday 16th January 2023- Closing date for applications.

Admissions Policy

In the event of the school being over-subscribed for the Reception Year, places are allocated according to the following LEA admission criteria, in priority order:

• Children in local authority care

• Current family association (a brother or sister in the school at the time of entry)

• Health reasons (for which a medical certificate may be needed)

• Nearness of children’s homes to the school

Parents considering applying to the school at other times during their child’s/children’s primary years are most welcome to visit the school in the event that a place is available.

Applications

Applications for admission into Reception class for September 2023 will close on 16 January 2023. 

You can apply online for a school place by visiting www.kent.gov.uk/schooladmissions

If you applied online you will be emailed on Monday 17 April 2023 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. 

If you do not have access to the internet or require support in completing an online application, our Family Liaison Officer, Clare Palmer, is happy to assist you. You can make an appointment via the school office.
